Angela Pietribiasi

After having obtained her diploma from Scientific Highschool, Angela Pietribiasi graduates from Law School in Turin. While studying at university, she attends the extension school at the Albertina Academy of Belle Arti, further developing her interest for artistic expression, which, with time, will become her career choice.
After a few years dedicated exclusively to painting, she gradually begins to use other means of expression in her research.
As of the beginning of the 2000s, photography prevails, even though video-art, pictorial interventions and installations are present in some productions.
Through the years she has collaborated with communication/production agencies as artistic director for publicity and institutional campaigns and for the realization of books, company documentaries and emotional videos.
Besides her artistic research, there’ always been space and time for writing.
The use of language in poetic form is a parallel journey to art but also transversal; in some of her works both forms of expression are present.
She has realized art books by using photographs and words. In 2013 she published her first book of poetry and photographs.
Her works have been exhibited in Italy and abroad in personal as well as collective works as of the end of the 1990s.
