Water on the moon for “Aqua vita e mors” PALAZZO BRICHERASIO, 2004
Angela Pietribiasi was thinking about the moon’s water. Not a mere imaginary creation, but a hypothesis supported by recent research by scientists, who, in the 90s, discovered the existence of glaciers harbored in the deepest craters of our satellite.
The visual reconstruction the artists makes of it is imaginary and visionary, both in the video as well as in the accompanying photos, becoming an abstract mobile painting of chromes, reflections, and marking weaves which recall the artist’s former pictorial journey constructed on abstract cadence.
