ILLIMITE

The photographs in the Illimite series offer horizons which are illusory, as often are the expectations of those who are in search of a better future as well as those who try to avoid going there in an attempt to protect what they are afraid of losing. The sea’s horizon itself, in its simply being a line, goes beyond the concept of space, a non-place, where even the clouds and boats crossing it look like mirages on a metaphysical line.
Illimite is a project developed within the research Horizons which began in 2005.
